Kebetulan ada pameran Festival Komputer Indonesia (FKI) 2011 di Jogja Expo Center (JEC) kemarin. Kalau dilihat, sepertinya pameran ini lebih sukses dari pameran sebelumnya, National IT Expo (NIX) 2011.

Seminggu sebelumnya aku udah survey harga. Ini gara² Grapari Jogja ngadain upgrade OS gratis tapi ga bilang klo cuma untuk 50 ponsel aja. Sudah kecewa dateng jauh², eh yang ditawarkan voucher 50% untuk upgrade alias bayar 50rb . Ngapain bayar kalau bisa gratis. Akhirnya coba mencari ke salah satu toko, dan kebetulan disana juga jual Galaxy Tab. Disana harganya 4,57.

Di pameran FKI 2011, ternyata ga ada yg menjual Galaxy Tab dengan harga yang mampu menyaingi harga tersebut. Kebetulan ada stand Samsung dan itu stand terakhir yang kukunjungi. Eh kata Mbaknya, “wah disini ga jual Galaxy Tab, Mas”. Akhirnya aku malah ditawarkan ke stand di depannya (lho?)

Ini ada apa kok malah ditawarkan ke ke stand orang lain? Apa ada kerjasama? Ternyata Mbaknya bilang, “engga sih”

Akhirnya aku pun beralih ke stand salah satu toko HP yg lokasinya tokonya di selatan Tugu Jogja itu.

Kutanya harga disana 4,89. Yaah, denger gitu tiba² jadi males deh ternyata sama aja. Tapi Mbaknya bilang, “…tapi dapet bonus HP Samsung lho”. Aku pun diperlihatkan brosur ini.

Halah cuma HP kaya gitu, buat apa?

Akhirnya melihat aku ga minat Mbaknya pun bilang, “ini harganya sekitar 200an lho, Mas”. Lantas kujawab, “klo ga mau ambil HPnya bisa dapet 4,6 ga?”. Eh Mbaknya geleng².

Kubilang, “lha saya ga butuh HPnya jhe, Mbak”. Dijawabnya, “Dijual aja lagi HPnya, Mas”.

Hah? HP kaya gitu kok dijual? Sapa yang mau beli?

Akhirnya karena stand itu ga jauh dari pintu keluar, ya udah akhirnya selesai juga hunting-nya

Terbesit di pikiranku taktik marketing yang aneh, masa’ Galaxy Tab kan bisa buat nelpon kok dikasih bonus HP? Mending klo aksesoris atau voucher gitu kek..

Kecuali klo mereka jualnya Acer Iconia, masih masuk akal klo bonusnya HP

Kurasa mereka ingin ngabisin stok, soalnya di toko itu HP murmer kaya gitu ga laku kali..

Tapi meski demikian di pameran kemarin aku dapat barang diskonan kok

From Ardhis’s idea, we agreed to had a gathering for Koprollers in Jogja and Solo (we named Kopijos: Koproller ing Jogja Solo). Then he asked us where and when we did the gathering. And Mas Iwan told how about in Alun-Alun Kidul (South City Field), then we’re agreed.

But Alun-Alun Kidul is wide, so I asked again where exactly we will met. I suggest in Pendopo Sasono Hinggil, then they’re agreed.

So, we did a gathering on Saturday night, Feb 20, 2010 at 7.30 pm.

While we waiting for our friend, Effranr, we had a chit-chat in this balcony (pendopo -red).

And after Effrarr came, we moved to the east of Alun-Alun.

We ordered Wedhang Ronde, a Javanese traditional drink with ginger, white bread, peanut, kolang-kaling fruit (made from palm tree seeds), and rice flour ball. Some people sometimes add sweetened condensed milk.

That’s Kintar‘s phone when he used to browsing Koprol. It was cost Rp.4000, but if it’s not weekend or holiday the price is Rp.3000. And the parking fee increased to Rp.2000

I just want to share what happen in Jogja city in the new year eve. It was an event named “Jogja Biennale X 2009”. There’s some changes in the city by adding decorations, statues, paintings, etc. In this post, it’s not all the city I took the pic, but just around Malioboro and Taman Siswa street.

Our trip began from Malioboro street.

Ya, it was 3 months ago I graduated (Nov 14) but just now we can do the thanksgiving. It because we’re waiting for our friends (read: former assistants) who already works outside of Jogja to come here (in Lab). Actually we had planned to gathered in the end of year 2009, but maybe many of us are busy (actually not me, cause I’ve time in last new year holiday ^^). And suddenly our Lab Chief, Mrs. Suci Ardiningsih or we called Miss Cicik called me. She told me that 2 of our friends, that are Freddy and Malik, had visited our lab on Monday, Feb 8, 2010 and they will visited again on Wednesday, Feb 10.

Freddy has working in Roman Ceramics in Tangerang and Malik still has working in Qatar. Malik had came back to Indonesia twice. He already works there for 3 years and the contract is for 8 years, so it’s still 5 years again..

On Monday night, I asked my course friend, Boy, where’s the nice place to have lunch which is near from our lab? And then he answered, in Lombok Idjo. It’s about 2 kilos from our lab. And on Wednesday, I asked my lab friends again and Miss Cicik suggested us in there also. Actually I have chosen the place but it’s near Selokan Mataram. Unfortunately, we couldn’t left the Lab cause there were students who wanted to register for the Lab Work class. So, if we can’t go there, it better for us to buy lunch box. Then I went with my friend Ian.

If you pay attention to the pic, there’re some changes from our last visit. It has re-painted and now the alley has been paved (asphalt-ed). Our last visit the alley was muddy, right?

This is the situation when I have dinner in one of Lesehan Food Stall in the Malioboro. The night was getting late, and suddenly a street band showed up.
